The Covid-19 Handling Task Force refines the regulations for travelers by implementing an addendum to circular letter number 3 of 2020. The regulation will tighten supervision of the arrival of travelers from Britain, Europe and Australia.

Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Wiku Adisasmito explained that this was done because the SARS CoV-2 virus was discovered by scientists in the UK which could potentially be distributed to other countries.
Therefore, he added that the circular stipulates that foreign citizens (WNA), especially British foreigners or those departing from the UK, cannot make direct arrivals to Indonesia.
