Europe Follows the Murder of Six FPI Soldiers

In this world, there is no group of countries that cares most about human rights except the European Union (EU). That was what happened yesterday when a German diplomatic delegation visited the FPI secretariat. This is a sign that the EU wants to get "first hand" information about the killing of six FPI laskar.

Germany is one of the EU countries that provides a lot of political and financial support for people or communities who are treated arbitrarily. They know exactly what is happening in Indonesia. In particular what happened to Habib Rizieq Syihab (HRS) and the movement that demanded justice.

Almost certainly, the German diplomats had long observed the actions of the authorities here. They noted the abuses of the rulers. Including the tyranny of the Police. In particular, the killing of 6 FPI laskar who allegedly violated legal provisions (unlawful killing).

The German diplomats must have collected a lot of records about the violence that has been perpetrated by the police. This includes the inhuman actions experienced by the demonstrators regarding the results of the 2019 presidential election and the demonstrators of the Omnibus Law Law. And also in various other demonstration events.

The recent killings of six FPI laskar were seen as the climax of the rulers' abuse. At the same time, the German diplomats made this murder a momentum to warn the Indonesian government that the arbitrariness had to stop.

It is very likely that the German diplomats were commissioned by the EU to gather information about the killings of the soldiers. They may have been closely watching the actions of the police in this incident.

So, there is no doubt that the visit of the German diplomats will enlarge the international aspect of the killing of the six FPI troops. We will see even greater attention from the European Union.
