Ustaz Abdul Somad Welcomed by Enthusiasm in Sorong and Raja Ampat

Although often getting persecution from around a person, ustaz Abdul Somad's mission continued. In fact, his arrival was greeted enthusiastically when he arrived in Sorong, West Papua.


"That friendship brings blessing, kindness, benefit and ease of sustenance. Alhamdulillah, today the people of West Papua, especially the Islamic Ummah in Sorong and Kab. ‘Ini Today it is planned that UAS will hold tausiyah in Raja Ampat, and we have arrived at the Raja Ampat pier after crossing from Sorong city. "Tomorrow will return from Raja Ampat to Sorong to continue the UAS da'wah safari in West Papua," he said firmly.

As is known, the Muslim community is very much in West Papua, including in the city of Sorong. They coexist peacefully with other religious people. Even the schools and universities owned by Muhammadiyah Universities are the majority of students and students are non-Islamic. They can still learn quietly and there are no problems related to different beliefs. One member of PP Muhammaduyah, Abdul Mu'ti, even stated this situation in a dissertation.

In addition, the West Papua MUI every Ramadhan arrived to hold a circumnavigation safari event that reached all corners of West Papua. They visit various places and locations where Muslims live in remote areas.
